Chico's Cantina - Chico's Cantina on Stock Island Key West is a favorite with locals and snowbirds. Located right on US 1 before you get into Key West proper, it's on the left and has parking out front. They have indoor and patio seating, but choose patio unless it's summer time and way too hot. They have great fresh ingredients and el cheapo burritos for six bucks. Pay just a dollar more and get the burrito deluxe, which means you get guacamole and sour cream with your burrito.
The waitstaff at Chico's Cantina are great. Unlike a lot of restaurants in Key West, the turnover here is not high. Waitrons tend to stick around here, for whatever reason. Well, in any case, they are pleasant and it's a happy place. Great food, great service! |
