Fantasy Fest - Fantasy Fest is Key West's biggest party all year long. It begins on a Friday night with Goombay, a celebration of Bahamanian culture. Then ends two Saturdays later with a big parade and floats. All week long there are parties at the local bars and restaurants, each with its own costume theme. Duval Street is blocked off from traffic and people in costume and body paint have the run of the streets day and night. Catch Homemake Bikini Contest, Key West Body Paint contest, Pet Masquerade, and more. You will catch the fever once you're here, so bring costumes and book your hotel or guest house early. Rooms fill up way in advance for Fantasy Fest.
