World Sailfish Championship World Sailfish Championship - This three-day event sometimes coincides with Conch Republic Days (see above), and features, of course, hard fishin', plus a free concert in Mallory Square (think Rolling Stones tribute band), parties, food, and entertainment. Hit the local bars at night to catch fish stories from the tournament participants. Check out the boat slips in front of the Hilton for some eye-poppingly beautiful offshore fishing boats and yachts.
