Turtle Kraals Tower Bar - The Best Rooftop Bar in Key West!
The Tower at Turtle Kraals Restaurant has an excellent view of Key West's Historic Seaport. Situated on the
second floor of a dockside restaurant, the view is unbeatable. From the open-air bar or the from the table
seating, patrons can see fishing charter boats, dolphin tour boats, catamarans, and any other type of watercraft
that happens to arrive at the docks in Key West's busiest waterfront area. There's a skiff parking lot for
those coming off their yachts or livaboards, and you can also see across to the Navy and Coast Guard waterfront
areas. If there's a big Navy or Coat Guard ship in town, you'll see that too. It's a great view not only for
the scenery, but also for watching the goings on of a busy tourist waterfront area.
The bar itself is also wonderful, with open air dining and a comfortable, casual feel. They have beer on tap
up there and mixed drinks, wine and soda. You can order scrumptious appetizers like smoked fish dip, which comes
with Ritz crackers. The Sirloin steak is the best thing served at Turtle Kraals, if you want a meal with your
fantastic view from the Rooftop Bar.
